“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the backpackers. The staff were helpful, and I went to dartmoor which was organised by the hostel as well. The room I was in was lovely and had a good view, so it was good value for money! I have met some lovely people who I hope to stay in contact with, it was a great experience. I would definitely visit again.” Leanne, UK, Aug 2011
“Friendliest hostel ever, with anything you might need. Free Internet, kitchen, tv/dvd room, and the staff will go out of their way to make sure you make the most of your stay in Torquay. Would recommend to anyone any day.” Magdalena, Poland, Aug 2011

“I had a great time at Torquay backpackers and met many great people! The staff is excellent and very easy going – the best I have come across so far! The rooms are clean and I even had a shower en-suite and sea view! It is very close to the city centre, harbour and all the other attractions and I would definitely stay there again!!!” Gesine, Germany July 2011
“Best hostel stay so far in the UK (and I am a traveller). Really helpful and costumer-caring staff. Hostel has a lot of charisma. Shops are just a few mins walk away. Very comfy beds, clean showers, well equipped kitchen, free tea/coffee & milk, chilly (big flat) TV lounge with free wifi. I joined a Landrover trip for little money which was fun. I will definitely come back!” Virginia, Germany July 2011

“The hostel had a nice common room and a backyard. There was a kitchen for those that fancy to cook. If you are a couchpotato, there are plenty of dvds in the common room and some comfy couches plus a huge tv!” Judith, Germany, July 2011

“One of the best hostels I have stayed at. Although the hostel is an old building its very clean and modern inside without losing its character. Kitchen and dining room very first class and there was a huge collection of DVDs to watch. Finally a hostel that doesnt try and rip off backpackers by offering free internet and Wifi. About 10 or so long termers that were very open and friendly and welcoming to a traveller on my own. Great place to stay think I can see why people don’t leave!!!!” Bradley, Canada, Oct 2011
“Great hostel! My room was quite small, but we could arrange ourselves.
I don’t have anything to complain about, would recommend it and stay there again myself.” Julia, Germany, July 2011

Thank you.” Lottie, UK, July 2010
